Cookie policy

We don't run ads and we don't sell your data.

We detect your country from your IP. In the UK or EEA, analytics is off unless you opt in via the banner. Anywhere else, analytics runs by default. Either way you can change your choice any time via Preferences in the footer.

We also honour Global Privacy Control: where your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to keep analytics off, even before you interact with the banner.

Set by default — the site can't work without them. No consent required.

• Clerk session cookies (__session, __client_uat, __clerk_*) — keep you signed in. Set by Clerk on our behalf as our processor, not for advertising or cross-site tracking. Cleared on sign-out or session timeout.
• dissed_cookie_consent_v1 (localStorage) — remembers your cookie choice (which overrides any GPC signal you've sent) so we don't ask again every visit. Stays in your browser until you clear site data or we update the policy version.

Beyond cookies, we also run Sentry for crash monitoring under legitimate interest. It captures errors and the steps that led to them, with no personal data collected by default and no session replay, and sets no cookies on this site.

• PostHog (EU-hosted, reverse-proxied via /ingest) — an anonymous distinct ID stored in localStorage as dissed_posthog_anon_id, persisting until you clear site data or withdraw consent. We capture page views and feature interactions (e.g. editing or downloading tracks, claiming gifts, submitting takedowns). No session replay. No advertising identifiers.

Withdraw consent any time, as easily as you gave it, via Preferences in the footer. Clearing cookies and localStorage in your browser also resets the choice — the banner reappears next visit.

Checkout happens on Polar.sh — their cookies and policies apply once you leave dissed.io.
